About me
By playing my original rhythmic compositions for harp and voice, I like to breake stereotypes around this ancient instrument and bring it into a modern context. With my warm voice and versatile harp play, I enjoy interpreting jazz and pop songs in a unique way. My own compositions are deeply touching and invite the audience into a soulful river of sounds.
As a harpist and singer, I performed at concerts and festivals in 14 different countries. I started playing the harp at the age of 5 and I was already performing concerts and winning competitions from a young age. I took my passion for that instrument to a higher level and studied harp and music pedagogy in the Music Academy in Freiburg (DE) and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki (FI). After graduating from my Bachelor, I moved to Aalborg, where I currently study a master in rhythmic harp at the Royal Academy of Music.
In addition to my classical training I began to arrange music from all over the world for the harp. To expand my repertoire, I took numerous master classes with international harpists. Among others, I learned from Diego Laverde Rojas (COL), Sivan Megan (ISR), Imogen Barford (UK), Isabelle Perrin (NOR), Paivi Severeide (FI), Edward Witzenburg (NL) and Park Stickney (USA).
